HOURS OF OPERATION:

Daily 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-9pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Open till 2:30pm 12/24. Open till 7pm 12/26-12/31.

These tickets do not require an advance timed admission reservation. Just show your tickets to our staff when you arrive and we will accommodate you. Once in the museum you are permitted to tour until we close.

All guests will enter the museum from the plaza through a singular entry point. Upon entry our Crew will scan pre-purchased tickets and direct guests to start their self-guided tour downstairs on Level 0.

Face coverings are encouraged but not mandatory for guests. Staff are required to wear facial covering while working inside the museum. Some staff will be wearing “I’m still Social Distancing” stickers, please respect our crew and maintain a safe social distance.

By entering the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, all guests confirm they have NOT:
• Experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours
• Been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed over the last 48 hours with COVID-19
• Been contacted by a public health authority within the last 14 days, due to having been in contact with an individual infected with COVID-19
• Been directed to quarantine by a physician or public health authority
• Tested positive for, or been diagnosed with, COVID-19 within the last 10 days and / or not received clearance from a physician to discontinue isolation

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Another milestone being celebrated is 50+ years since the start of Rolling Stone Magazine, the counterculture start up that rose to the top by covering the cross-section of music, politics and pop culture. The Rock & Roll Hall is a must-visit attraction for all music lovers. There are several levels, but the bottom floor has the bulk of exhibits, including galleries about hip-hop and the roots of rock and roll, including country, blues, and other genres. There are tons of awesome artifacts from all the legendary rock bands and performers. One of my favorites was the piano that John Lennon and Paul McCartney used to write many of Beatles' hit songs in the 1960s. The other levels have interactive exhibits, the actual Hall of Fame, and more artifacts. The Hall's architecture, designed by I.M. Pei, is also really interesting in itself. Parking was easy in the Great Lakes Science Center garage down the street.

Just loved being able to share this with our music loving daughter for the first time over Christmas break. Being as how she lived in Nashville and worked in tourism she was very familiar with many of the pioneers of rock and roll history. It was fun spending the time and learning more of the history as well as reliving some great moments from our teenage era. A great museum!!

The opportunity to revisit some of my favorite musicians from the past altogether in one space was AMAZING! Reading the back stories for some of the exhibits was transformative! But it was the SOUL TRAIN footage of Smokey Robinson and Aretha Franklin performing an impromptu duet song together that captured my entire experience!!! Thanks for letting me reminisce!
