We gave our 14-year-old son options for our family vacation and he chose #RockyMountaineer from Denver to Moab! This experience did not disappoint - from the incredible staff, to the divine food, and the most spectacular views! We opted for the SilverLeaf package and were blown away by the service! Thank you so very much to: Jessica, Tristan (the cowboy), Dillon, and Neal (as well as the sending and receiving staff members along the way)!

The scenery was beautiful and varied, and Joey's narration helped us understand the locations and their history. The rail cars were clean and comfortable and gave a great view of the scenery. Thanks also to Chef Dillon for keeping us fed with excellent meals. The overnight stay at the historic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs was also interesting, since President Teddy Roosevelt has also stayed there. This is a trip we will long remember.

The time on the train was wonderful in so many ways. The seats were comfortable and roomy, and the views were spectacular. The staff on board was fabulous. We enjoyed Olivia, the tour guide and server. Sabrina, the chef, was excellent. I never expected the quality of food and service to be so top-notch. Rocky Mountaineer provided exemplary perks from when we first arrived to when we departed. They gave us water bottles as soon as they greeted us and carried our handbags up the stairs of the train. They picked up our luggage in hotel rooms, transported it, and ensured it was in the next hotel room when we arrived. The unique details they included in the overall trip allowed us to enjoy every aspect of our vacation without being bogged down by some of the negative aspects of traveling.
