We were very excited to see that we would be traveling to Pearl Harbor on a double decker bus. We have never been on one and it was a fun experience. That being said, it may be good to let guests know that ahead of time so they are prepared. We really appreciated our tour guide's promptness and honesty on the way to Pearl Harbor. I think there were some who were confused with whether or not we had tickets to the USS Arizona. We understood that we needed to get in the standby line right away, but he never used the words standby line, so that was a little bit confusing. On our way back to our hotel, he spent too much time informing us that he should have been clearer, but we spent less money on transportation than we would have if we had taken an Uber. While this is true, I don't think it was wise for him to dwell so long on that. He then went on to call out a guy who must have been really rude earlier to him... if he had a problem with someone who was rude or inappropriate, he should have discussed with that person in private. It was incredibly uncomfortable and made us a bit nervous with him being in control of the vehicle that was to get us back safely. That part was very unprofessional. Honestly, in the future, I would just make sure you're clear with guests that what they are ultimately paying for is transportation to Pearl Harbor not anything that has to do with the Pearl Harbor experience.
