My husband and I, along with our friends, enjoyed a Jeep tour to the San Andreas Fault and some nearby canyons and trails. What made the trip particularly enjoyable was our guide/driver, Ben. He could not have been more knowledgeable, gregarious and accommodating. We’ve been visiting the area for 10+ years and we’re surprised with the new sites and information we experienced. We even were treated to the appearance of the very elusive desert tarantula. I highly recommend this excursion. Make sure you request Ben.

Ben did a great job pointing out all the flora and fauna to us as we traversed the canyons. He did it in a very informative and humorous way!! The Jeep was well cooled even in the hot afternoon sun. The ride was fun and slightly rocky but not too much for anyone with back issues. It was a fun afternoon! It recommended for adults and kids 6+

Ben transported us into a fantastical upside-down world of bizarre shapes and angles where ancient geologic layers have been squeezed and tilted upwards and are now exposed—the result of tectonic movement and pressure along the San Andreas fault zone. The ride up Box Cyn road is a dramatic must-see, as is the Painted Canyon. The off-road exploring was great fun, definitely requiring 4-wheel drive. Ben was ready with information about everything around us—the geology, plants, wildlife and animal tracks. Thank you, Ben, for a really quality afternoon!
