Every city we visit, we do a sight seeing tour, and usually we think they are top notch. This particular tour was great as far as the boat cruise and tower were concerned, but not the bus tour. First of all, when we bought our tickets for Monday, April 11, no one told us how many sites were closed on Mondays. That should be noted on your website. On top of that, when we hopped off the bus to visit a site, we weren’t told by the driver that it was closed. We didn’t discover that until we tried to get in and then noticed a sign that said “Closed on Mondays”. By that time the bus was gone. In addition, when we got to the Alamo, we were not told that there might be a wait to get again. Once again, we got off the bus, went to the Alamo, and discovered that if we wanted to go in, it would be a 1 ½ hour wait. Of course, now the bus was gone. Lastly, the last driver that we had, was rude. She did not announce, “if you’d like to get off to see________, this is your stop” After she passed one of the sights that we wanted to get off for, we brought it to her attention, and she very rudely said, I told you to get off if you wanted. I said, No you didn’t. She said Yes I did. My husband then said, No you did not. Then she turned around to the rest of the people in the bus and said, “Didn’t I announce the last stop?” and no one said a word. I could not believe her behavior.

We had a good time, but were super disappointed in the lack of the boat taxi for transportation on the River Walk. We did not do the Hop On Hop Off, but drove ourselves to the Botanical Gardens which was super. Paid $25 to park to see the Alamo, but did not have time to wait for our time slot to visit the Alamo. We had seen it before so did not Wait the hour and a half.
