The boat cruise was great. I highly recommend doing this tour the first day in San Antonio. It gives you the whole areas most important sites. The boat driver was funny and very informative. The hop on was a great way to see San Antonio. I rode the whole way then went back to ride and get off where I wanted. The only issue was the buses were not air conditioned and it was 90 degrees out with 95 percent humidity. I went to the Tower for dinner and it was fabulous to see but don’t plan dinner there. $145 just for me which was a steak a veggie and a shrimp cocktail 2 drinks. Much too expensive

We took the Cruise at night... Definitely a PLUS. The lights and nightlife made things so attractive. Our bus driver/guide, JP was FANTASTIC! He made the tour personal without being overbearing. His delivery and voice were tremendous.

I think we would’ve been better off buying tickets to the tower and the river cruise separately. The tower of the americas was nice. It was a nice way to see the city and it is surrounded by a nice little park which was decorated for the season (October/Fall). If I did it again, it would definitely be at night to see the city lights. The 4D theater was also cool, but jerky and rough at times. I could still feel the effects the next day. The river cruise was ok. It’s overcrowded and difficult to turn around to see the things behind you, but it was still interesting and a pretty cool way to learn some history of San Antonio. The hop on hop off bus was a joke. We had a two day ticket and the first day, never saw a bus while we walked to all the places we wanted to visit. The second day, we rode the whole tour, but could not hear the information about the city very well. It’s also a recording and it kept starting over at every stop so the driver had to find the right piece each time. We have been on some hop on hop off tours before in Washington D.C. and New York City that were much nicer.
