If covid safety is important to you, I'd suggest skipping this until the pandemic is over. No mask enforcement or social distancing on the boat, despite what the website and confirmation email claim. If you're very comfortable getting close to strangers without masks, you will likely enjoy the trip. If not, I strongly urge you to avoid right now. The crew is nice, and assisted those who were disabled or ill on the boat. I recommend taking an anti-nausea medicine 2-3 hours before departure time to avoid being one of the several pukers on the boat, as the boat can be rocky. Those who become ill are given large trash cans to barf into, so you better move if you happen to encounter them, or enjoy the splatter. The crew is familiar w/how far out to take you, so that you can enjoy the Whales and dolphins. Unfortunately I care about contracting covid and possibly infecting others, so I wasn't able to enjoy my trip with over 80% of maskless guests hovering over me to catch a view (even when I continuously moved). I wish the company would enforce masks on board, and advise people about anti-nausea medicine when confirming their initial purchase. The use of barf bags, to hold to the face & prevent splatter on others would also be a nice touch 🤦🏽♀️. Not worth my money at the moment. Wish I couldve enjoyed it more. The few whales I could see were beautiful to look at.
