On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco, the Mission District, you'll see how immigrants shaped the neighborhood by creating brilliant artwork, beautiful architecture and sharing their fantastic food! Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, it is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture.

The Mission District is full of vibrant murals that offer a visual history lesson featuring themes ranging from cultural heritage to social-political statements. We will take a stroll through the neighborhood to get an up-close experience.

This was our second food tour with Secret Food Tours and we loved it! Charlotte was simply lovely: very knowledgeable, warm, accommodating and friendly. The tour was just the right length and pace, and as well as eating some amazing food, we also learned about the area and saw the great murals that the Mission district is famous for. Highly, highly recommended

This was absolutely fabulous! This is my second food tour, first with Secret Food Tours, but we now plan to do this everywhere we go! The day started a little early, our lyft had trouble finding the place, but our tour guide, Charlotte, was wonderful and found us. The food was delicious, I was the perfect amount of full the entire tour and the walking distance in between places was perfect. It was great to walk around and experience a part of San Francisco most people miss. I bragged about some of the food we had to some SF natives I know and they are now going to spend more time exploring the Mission district. Food, services and experience was all fantastic!

We had a great food tour in SF. Charlotte not only knows some of the best restaurants and diners in the Mission District, she is familiar with the whole area. Beside the delicious food we got to know the different quarters and some charming places like Clarion Alley, Dolores Park, etc. And Charlotte tells some amazing stories about the restaurants and the whole Mission District. We really enjoyed the tour.
