On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco, the Mission District, you'll see how immigrants shaped the neighborhood by creating brilliant artwork, beautiful architecture and sharing their fantastic food! Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, it is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture.

The Mission District is full of vibrant murals that offer a visual history lesson featuring themes ranging from cultural heritage to social-political statements. We will take a stroll through the neighborhood to get an up-close experience.

Charlotte was an amazing tour guide. She has wonderful people skills and she shows it with an awesome tour of the Mission District. She leads you around with knowledge of each establishment, explanations of the neighborhood and really good food choices from a variety of restaurants! This was a really good way to learn about Mission and explore the streets safely! We were so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful tour! Thanks Charlotte!

We enjoyed this Secret Food Tour of the Mission district of San Francisco! Charlotte was a wonderful hostess -- thoughtful, engaging and knowledgeable of both the food and the places we visited! She made us feel instantly comfortable and gave us insights into what makes the area so special. We enjoyed the varieties of foods and the amounts were perfect. While we did do a bit of walking, we appreciate the pace and planned stops. We'd definitely recommend this tour to friends and will look for similar ones in other cities! Thanks Charlotte!
