Przegląd
The 2nd Annual Art Crawl Trolley tour runs Jan 10, Feb 14, Mar 14, & Apr 11, 2025. Book your boarding time (every 15 min) on one of 3 trolleys that visit 6 art district locations on a 45-min tour route in downtown Sarasota. Arts districts include: Main St. N. Palm, S. Palm, Burns Ct., Towles Ct. & Limelight District. Visit 20+ galleries & studios. This tour includes hop-on/hop-off transportation to all art gallery hub stops.

$5 from each ticket will be donated to The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County.

No guide will offer any tour content but staff & volunteers will direct you to all galleries & tell you about each district. Three trolleys run in rotation every 15 min from 4 PM – 8 PM. If you are unable to catch one of the trolleys back before 7:45 PM, you are welcome to take an Uber or walk back to the Trolley Cottage.

Before you board, browse our Trolley Cottage Gift Shop & enjoy complimentary beer/wine. ALL guests must be 21+.

Worst tour ever! Total waste of time and money. Most disappointing, disorganized, so called “art crawl trolly tour”. It was oversold to hundreds of people… with no consideration for those of us who paid to be shuttled to different galleries around downtown Sarasota. After waiting for an hour to get the first trolly out to the first location, which was a Marriott hotel called “Art Ovation”… we saw very little, so called ‘art’, then left there to wait at the stop for the next trolly to take us to the other ‘art hubs’. After waiting over an hour for the next trolly (which was promised to arrive every 15 minutes) we were brought back to the trolly cottage gift shop, where the ‘so called’ tour began. Do not waste your time and money on this sham of a tour. This company and its lack of respect for it’s paying customers should be shut down for this shameful misrepresentation.

I am sorry you did not enjoy this tour as many others did but your synopsis and conclusions are incorrect. We had two trolleys running all night transporting people to all 6 stops where there were 20+ galleries open. Most guests arrived at 4:30 and were all out enroute by 5:15. You arrived after 5:15 and so waited longer to get to the tour route. We limited the tour to 250 guests and had the same number of people as we have had in past months where guests raved about the tour. If you had taken the advice of the staff member at hub stop #2, you could have walked two blocks on Palm Ave- the main street of art galleries - and seen 7 more galleries but you refused to move. Everyone was told that stops 1-3 are walkable...just a few blocks. The Art Ovation Hotel is an art gallery with 7 floors of art exhibits as well as an artist studio and artists in residence. They are the only art hotel in Sarasota with an art curator. I am sorry you did not take advantage of the full tour there. Your ticket for this hop on hop off tour was $10. For this you got free parking downtown, complimentary beer/wine at our location and at each of the 20+ galleries and the transport. Hardly a total waste of time or money. What I do know is that you were angry when you arrived late and were so abusive to my staff member while you waited that she called us crying. We run 16 other award-winning tours of Sarasota's arts and cultural areas beloved my many people. We offer these tours because we love Sarasota and want to share all of her unique attributes. We also care deeply about each guest's experiences with us and have many thousands of people return to take all tours as you can see from the awards we have won and the 1000+ five-star reviews. I am sorry you did not appreciate this.

What a great idea! I love art but didn't know where the best art districts were in Sarasota. I knew some of the 6 stops but parking can be so difficult in those areas. Great overview with the history of the art areas provided by the trolley guides. I got the overview that I wanted and enjoyed a special pleasant evening with my husband. Take this great tour.

Everyone enjoyed the art crawl immensely.We are all residents of Sarasota and appreciated that we were exposed to artists and studios in the area that we were unaware of. Many of us plan to return to some of the studios and purchase our favorite works of art. Thank you for a great evening filled with art and historical information about Sarasota.
