Our Uber driver recommended visiting the Bonaventure Cemetery. Not being familiar with "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil", this wasn't high on my radar. I'm glad we listened to Sarah (our driver). We attended a wedding in Savannah on Saturday night, with no scheduled plans for Sunday. I was able to book the 2P Bonaventure Cemetery Journeys with Shannon Scott tour, no problem. It was a larger group (17-20 people) but the guide Susannah did a great job and there was no problem hearing what she had to say. It was an easy walk with plenty of interesting facts about the cemetery and Victorian burials. I really can't imagine visiting the cemetery without a tour, not sure you would understand what you were seeing. The cemetery is beautiful on its own, but the commentary made it that much better for us.

With only 24 hours in Savannah, Bonaventure Cemetery Journeys gave my family the perfect introductory overview of local history and culture. We have a 17 year old who was captivated in spite of herself! Our tour guide, Jessica, was a wealth of knowledge and insight about the history, customs, artistic significance, and lore of all the burial plots she showed us. Bonaventure Cemetery would be beautiful to walk through regardless, but taking the tour with Jessica gave it so much more meaning. We were all so glad that we opted to spend our limited time on this tour. There is something of interest for everyone on this tour regardless of age, faith, or ethnic background. We especially appreciated the extra time Jessica took at the end to show us the Jewish part of the cemetery as well as to give us dining suggestions. Rhett worked out great, thank you Jessica!

Informative but cheesy. Our guide tried but I think she had other things on her mind. If I had to go again I would pick another tour. When they tour completed she said we are done. Head that way. Then we all got lost after walking forever. Loved the cemetery not the tour.
