Although a cemetery tour may not be high on your list of tour sites this one will change your mind. The cemetery itself is amazing in size, layout and natural foliage, but the information, stories, and personal experiences shared by Mr. Scott make this tour so worthwhile and entertaining that I considered it the highlight of my Savannah trip.

You will enjoy this, so please don't visit Savannah without booking this tour with Shannon! This is my second time with this tour and I can't recommend it highly enough. You will really enjoy Shannon, his wit, his knowledge of the history of Savannah, and his passion for Bonaventure and all things regarding Savannah.

Heed the warnings about the bug spray. We had a beautiful calm sunny day but, a little breeze would have been nice to blow the sandflies away. Shannon was a wonderful guide with lots of great stories. It was well worth the visit. There is a lot of history tied to the cemetery along with many beautiful sculptures. He does a great job explaining the lives of the artists and their works.
