Your adventure begins with our first experience at the Kingman Powerhouse Visitors Center/Route 66 & Electric Vehicle Museums. The Route 66/Electric Vehicle Museum is in Kingman’s Historic Powerhouse and depicts the historical evolution of travel along the 35th parallel that became Route 66. Brilliant murals, photos and life-size dioramas capture each of the groups that have traveled what came to be known as the Mother Road.

Located on Winery Row, Little Old Wine Drinkers Winery is starting from scratch (bare Earth), breaking the soil, planting vines, harvesting grapes, creating delicious wines, and delivering them to you in bottles for your enjoyment. That is why we say, From Earth to Bottle, because we have been a part of the entire process.

We had a great time on this tour. I highly recommend it. We were visiting Laughlin on a girlfriend trip (we're from Ohio), and this turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Mike was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We started the tour with a visit to the Route 66 museum in Kingman. Since it was just us two girls on the tour, he stopped at an import business near the brewery because we like shopping. That place was fascinating. It was amazing all the import items they had for us to peruse. Loved the wine tasting (bought a bottle) and the rum distillery. The tour was finished with a lunch at a brewery in Kingman where I enjoyed a smoked Manhattan. Mike let us take as long as we wanted at each placed. No pressure at all. I highly recommend this tour. We are definitely going to go on one of their other offerings the next time we go to Laughlin.

Great day! Michael was a great/patient tour guide. He knew a lot about the area. First stop at the museum in Kingman along Route 66. Went to a little winery that I would give a 3 out of 5 stars, but then to a little brewery for some beer samples in Kingman and also a brewery/restaurant for lunch & cocktails. (Lunch was included, but had to pay gratuity. Be prepared for that) Those were both a great experience. We were disappointed we didn’t get to go to the distillery which was listed as a stop in the tour description. Not sure why that wasn’t available. Overall, we had a fun day and got to see some cool stuff. Thanks for a great ride Michael!

Thank you, Terry for your nice review. The Distillery that you mention, is a small private business who are closed on Tuesday & Wednesday so that they can be open on the Weekends. Thank you for the tip for folks to be prepared to pay the customary gratuity for good service!. Appreciate your review!

Highly recommend Desert Wonder Tours to explore the local area. In particular the Winery & Distillery tour is great value for money and very enjoyable. Bob was wonderful to deal with in the lead up to the day and also a sensational tour guide for our trip from Las Vegas to the Kingman area and back. I was always excited for this tour in the lead up, but it very much exceeded our expectations and was an experience we couldn't wait to tell family and friends about. All venues visited on our tour were very welcoming with friendly staff who loved having a chat and sharing their stories.
