The staff and our Dive Instructor Walter were so friendly and calm, they made me feel totally safe going through my open water dive tests.

Ben Carpenter was an amazing diving instructor to my 12 year old -- patient and fun, while making sure that she understood all the skills and could be comfortable doing them in open water. She had trouble equalizing and they worked on until she finally figured it out, pushing her just enough to master the skill... but very cautious to listen to her worries, and make sure her ears weren't hurting. He made me feel very secure that my daughter was in safe hands. We had a really great 3 days getting her certification. We are looking forward to coming back to take adventures with Panama City Diving together. Thanks, Ben!

By this point, I have trained for and received both my Open Water and Advanced Diver (SDI) certifications from this shop. Ben was my instructor for both of these courses, and I'm very glad he was. He was extremely knowledgeable and he shared techniques and information beyond just what SDI required. Not only that, but his love for diving was also infectious. Originally I had only been planning to get my Open Water certification, but I enjoyed my training so much that I decided to simply continue right where Open Water left off, and I went straight into the Advanced Diver training. Along with Ben, the other crew I've been around are just as friendly and knowledgeable. Captain Pat does a great job driving the boat, and Travis is a fantastic divemaster. I would highly recommend coming to Panama City Diving to receive your training, as the instructors I have used have all been top-tier, safety conscious, and incredibly personable.
