This Sea Dragon Airboat Safari is among the most exciting fresh water tours that Florida has to offer. Experience the freshwater tributaries along the beautiful and historic St Johns River. Observe various freshwater wildlife and vegetation that include American Alligators, Turtles, Reptiles, West Indian Manatees, Bald Eagles, Blue/Gray Herons, Egrets, Wild Boar, Deer, Cypress Trees, Lily Pads, and other wildlife and vegetation that inhabit the banks of our freshwater rivers and creeks. This tour is approximately 1.5 hour(s) in duration, and include a thrilling ride through parts of Trout Creek, Six Mile Creek, and the Bayard Conservation Area which are all located in the western most side of St. Augustine/St. Johns County.

Amazing time for all ages in our group. Although we were unable to see much wildlife due to the heat/time of year, the boat ride was a lot of fun and the scenery was gorgeous.

I went with my wife and 2 kids. We’d never been on an airboat ride so I guess that’s one thing we checked off the list. I feel like the staff did the best they could in entertaining us but honestly it just wasn’t that fun. The tour was for an hour and a half and we only went fast for probably a quarter of that. We had to go through two NO WAKE zones which took up a lot of the time. During the no wake zones we were going slow (obviously) which when it’s 95 out, that sucks. Our tour guide was Captain Justin and he was a nice guy who told us stories about gators mating. We didn’t see any gators though because it was too hot out. We’re a boating family and we’ve spent a lot of time on South Georgia and Florida’s blackwater rivers like that so we really didn’t see anything we haven’t ever seen. We didn’t really travel as far as I thought we would. All in all, I was underwhelmed and really don’t see myself going back. But I guess if you’ve never been on an airboat ride and you want to check it off your bucket list, I guess Sea Serpent Tours is just as good as anywhere else.

Today was my husbands 57th Birthday, this was one of his bucket list of things to do… He can now check it off his list✅… Thank you Tyler for making this day special for us both… was something I had never done before and loved it… Tyler was well informed, super friendly. Made sure we knew our safety rules for our best interest… was super funny as well .. We also enjoyed our group they where all very nice people…
