Is chocolate a food or a technology? Why does it hold such a special place in cultures around the world? Most importantly: How do YOU like your chocolate?

Included in your ticket price are 12 individual tastings. We will visit 8 of Downtown Seattle's most beloved bakeries, restaurants, cafés, and chocolatiers.

The tour starts at Dahlia Bakery where you delight in the days fresh bake. We continue through cafés where you experience the "World Tour of drinking chocolates," along with small treats and samples of chocolate.

We spend a portion of the tour in an Italian grocer where you sample a selection of some of the best chocolate bars in the world (and from right here in Seattle).

The tour ends at a chocolatier's shop known for its elite quality and unique incorporation of flavors, including fruit, honey and booze.

You'll leave this tour filled to the brim with chocolatey goodness, but also with a deeper understanding of what chocolate is, what it means, and where it's taking us.

His company, Woodring Orchards, offers visitors jams, pickles, pepper jellies, honey, caramel, and of course various hand crafted chocolate sauces. Dale grows the cacao himself, traveling twice a year to Venezuela for harvest.

The delicious hot chocolate at Indi! All of the vendors were enthusiastic, friendly, and informative. Will, our guide, was fun, informative, patient, and adorable. I will never look at chocolate the same way again!

My husband and I had a terrific chocolate tour with our tour guide Will. We made about eight stops and had about tastings, which included amazing chocolate in several forms, liquid and solid. We also stopped at a truffle shop where we sampled truffle salt, truffle balsamic, and truffle spreads. Will was extremely informative and helpful. He clearly knows many purveyors of delicious chocolate wares, which made the entire tour fun and comfortable. We gained a better understanding of Pike’s Market and its dedicated vendors. I highly recommend this tour!

I had the honor of taking the Chocolate Tour with Will ( aka Willy Wonka) and it was super fun! He has a fun connection with a lot of the vendors we visited and he's an encyclopedia of Chocolate! He took us on a journey of Seattles finest chocolates (none of that hershey nonsense) and i tasted A TON of chocolate treats! I also had to opportubity to buy a ton of chocolate treats and gifts! Ask about Nestlé "chocolate". He'll blow your mind.
