Take a surfing lesson and enjoy a fun, safe and unforgettable surfing experience! Everything you need to surf is provided in one easy lesson. Each lesson includes a 10-15 minute land lesson on the basics of surfing and ocean safety. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water with your instructor. We are dedicated to providing surfing lessons to each student with a fun, safe and unforgettable surf experience. We adapt our style of teaching to the ability of each student. We will go that extra mile to make your surf experience the most memorable highlight of your vacation!

We had a semi-private lesson with Myles. He was an excellent instructor - very patient and encouraging. We all managed to get up surfing over the 2 hour lesson. The shop is located right across the street from Kalama park and it was easy to get the surf boards over to the beach. MWR is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to surf.

Most lessons spend considerable time on the beach. Our kids were in the water within 15 minutes. Justin and Renten were amazing. My wife and I were a little nervous sending our six-year-old daughter out on a day that the waves were large and rough. Renten took care of her as if she were his own. She was up on the board in no time. Justin took the three other kids (11,12 and 13) and they couldn't stop talking about how much they liked him and how much fun they had. We now have four new surfers! I couldn't give MWR a higher recommendation.

My son and I had a great expercience learning how to surf with Nohea (sorry if I misspelled your name!). The fact that we took the first course at 7:30AM was perfect for us since it was less crowdy. I would recommend Maui Waveriders to anyone who would like to try this for the first time. Aloha!
