Sitting atop what was once a cemetery, this former cooperage operated as a speakeasy and brothel during Prohibition under the ownership of the legendary Capone brothers. In the 1990's, It was an occasional haunt of infamous serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.

This tour takes you through every floor of our historical establishment - our main floor, the cellar basement, and the two upper floors. Once home to a cemetery, speakeasy, and brothel, Shaker's walls DO talk - and the tales they tell aren't always pretty. - 60 minutes. Indoors. This was one of the most chilling tours I’ve been on! Paris was super informative and personable. The girls behind the bar were welcoming, friendly, and fun! The history is super interesting and love the authenticity to parts of the building. Interacted w some spirits I didn’t want to leave! The tour def gave me goosebumps!

What a fun and entertaining experience! Our tour was fascinating and spooky and educational. Lots of cool history points as well as sordid details about the early establishment. The building itself is neat to see, a lot of the original design and architecture remain. Kirsten was our guide and was absolutely phenomenal. She was a treat! Highly recommend if you’re into this sort of thing. We really had a blast.

We really enjoyed this tour and this bar. Our tour guide, Kayleigh, is a great storyteller and really brings the history of the place to life. The building itself is fascinating and the owner has done a great job of preserving its history and character. We felt like we stepped back in time. I highly recommend this tour.
