We are a FUN SURF LA surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30-40 minutes we will be training on the beach - then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide you.

We’ll be giving lessons on Venice Beach - one of the most famous beaches in California. You’ll be able to not only enjoy the ocean and get surfing experience, but also explore the unique spirit of the eccentric cultural hub of Venice Beach.

This is a great company with really good instructors that have a passion for teaching. they are well prepared and make the lessons fun and worthwhile. To no fault of their own the wave on our lesson were not condusive to learning to surf as they formed about 20' off shore and broke almost as you just stood on the board. So good to go online and check the surf first before you book to make sure its worthwhile.

Amazing amazing amazing!! Man the instructors (Justin, Nicholas and William) were super. They have us all the do's and don'ts without eating up a ton of surf time. They gave us plenty of tips and tricks to help us on our first time. Because of them my girlfriend and I were able to ride tons of waves, some even as far as the shore and this was our FIRST time ever surfing!!! Also, plenty of surfboards and Wet suits. Friends of ours went with some other company and had to share boards and wet suits... Do yourself a favor and book with them.

Great family outing. First time surfing was a lot of fun for all!!! Good value!!! We all wanted to try surfing. The group lessons were super convenient (right at Venice Beach) and reasonably priced. We chose the two hour option and it did not disappoint.
