We are a FUN SURF LA surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30-40 minutes we will be training on the beach - then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide you.

We’ll be giving lessons on Venice Beach - one of the most famous beaches in California. You’ll be able to not only enjoy the ocean and get surfing experience, but also explore the unique spirit of the eccentric cultural hub of Venice Beach.

I really wanted to go surfing in Los Angeles at least once and this made me excited to try again. We had a small group so there was a lot of personal attention, which was great because the weather was kinda windy and rough to surf in for a beginner. It was such a good host, too! Learned a lot and will try to remember and surf more!

Alles is zeer duidelijk door vlot e-mail contact, ook telefonisch beschikbaar - super vriendelijke begeleiding - Alle materiaal wordt voorzien en is inbegrepen in de prijs - voldoende uitleg maar ook voldoende tijd in het water - echt een top ervaring, ook voor echte beginners zoals wij 😜! Everything is very clear thanks to smooth e-mail contact, also easy available by telephone - super friendly support - Great service for the best price! You got everything you need there to learn surfing! Boards and wetsuits are included - Enough and clear explanation but also enough time in the water - really a top experience, also for real beginners like us 😜!

Traveling from out of town, thought it would be nice to have a surf lesson while in LA for one day. Trying to celebrate Nurse’s week. Well there will be no celebration for this nurse. Unforeseen circumstances arose preventing me from taking advantage of my scheduled lesson. So I called, admittedly 30 minutes before my class to see if I could have a refund. Marina was very nice and friendly and said that she could not issue the refund and that I would have to contact AirBnb. We did not schedule anything through Airbnb. She gave the phone to some guy, owner probably or surf instructor. I said your the merchant and you can’t do a refund? That’s ridiculous. He said “you calling to cancel within an hour of your scheduled class is ridiculous.” Unforeseen circumstances, great customer service. Whoever the guy was that she handed the phone to was rude and aggressive. Real piece of work. Marina did call back. I didn’t answer because I thought it was the rude/aggressive guy. Marina, the nice lady, left a message saying that I could try to reschedule. That would have been nice if I wasn’t here for one day only. Marina, professional. Her boss that she handed the phone to, just the opposite. Learn some customer service.
