We are a FUN SURF LA surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30-40 minutes we will be training on the beach - then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide you.

We’ll be giving lessons on Venice Beach - one of the most famous beaches in California. You’ll be able to not only enjoy the ocean and get surfing experience, but also explore the unique spirit of the eccentric cultural hub of Venice Beach.

My son and I really enjoyed the experience. Will was our instructor. He took a great deal of time to insure we understood all the basics during the land lesson before we took to the water. Would definitely come back and do this again.

What better way to end my vacation than by surfing at Venice Beach! Our instructor was very friendly and a great teacher. It’s not as easy as it looks but the whole group had a blast in the water. We spent 30-45 minutes on the beach learning the basics before getting into the water to apply what we had learned. I will definitely be giving surfing another try and whenever I find my way back to LA, I’ll be going with these guys.
