The tour was so varied and seemed to cover all the important parts of Los Angeles. Never having been there before, it was just what I needed before getting on a cruise. The driver/guide had a great sense of humour and was extremely knowledgeable. His anecdotes about films, relevant homes and much more made it so interesting. Lunch at the Diner was excellent too. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great option if not driving around LA. Very convenient pick up at the hotel in Long Beach. Luckily there wasn’t a full bus and the weather was good on the day I went. Personally I would have liked to have spent time at Venice Beach but we only drove through. It was fun to see all the places from some of the movies. The driver was knowledgeable and very kind to drop off something I had left on the bus at my hotel after the tour.

Our driver's name was John and from the moment he picked us up he was welcoming and entertaining. He was very, and I mean VERY, knowledgeable about the entire tour. He proceeded to tell us in advance of each intersection what to look for on the cross streets. He knew all the neighbourhoods and had anecdotes for all. He picked us (5 people) up in Seal Beach and then picked up three other guests a short distance from our hotel. We covered Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, including the canals and reclaimed lands, West Hollywood, and Hollywood, including the Walk of Fame. He pointed out many points of interests along the route, including famous sites, homes, studios and other items of interest. We had lunch at Mel's Diner, did the observatory, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier and numerous sites along the way that were were used to represent other cities in different movies. He was very patient in the time alloted to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and other sites, Helped with taking photos of the Hollywood sign and was just a fountain of interesting trivia all along the way. His sense of humour was the perfect foil to a lovely day and we felt very satisfied with the experience.
