Went out on a charter total 7 of us, paid extra for it they said you'd go further out for "bigger and better fish" than the regular ship. We caught a small tuna thats about it in the 4 hours. Keep going around in circles in the same spot about two miles off the coast, next to the bigger boat which is cheaper. My kids fell asleep. Captain didnt say much at all the entire time. Never paid so much for absolutely nothing.

When I arrived at the pier, I had to sign up for a drift fishing trip because at the time I was the only one that wanted to go on the big game trip. Shortly after I paid for the trip I was advised that 4 other people wanted to upgrade to the Big game trip. So there was 4 adults and a 5 year old on this trip. When we started to fish for bait fish we let the 5 year old catch them because he wouldn't be able to bring in anything large. He had a great time and the deck hand was amazing working with the little boy. Now onto my review. This was the first time deep sea fishing and the first fish I was told by the other people on the boat was mine, so i jumped into the seat and got ready, they placed the rod into the holder and I fought for awhile, could have been 3 minutes or 30 I have no idea. When i did finally get it into the boat it was the biggest fish I've ever caught. I am writing this review 3 days after the trip and my left bicep is still sore (well worth the pain) It was an amazing experience and I'm thankful for the 4 other people that upgraded. The crew was great. This is something I will do again.

8 and a half foot lemon shark! Nothing additional needs to be said! Adam and Nick were absolutely the best and made it a very memorable 1st time ocean fishing for my 12 year old son! Spoiled for life now!
