Step away from the tourist crowds and join us for a private dinner party celebrating the flavors and sounds of the Quarter. The Shrimp is sourced from local shrimping families at their boat docks a few hours before your shrimp boil to choose the largest, freshest, wild-caught local shrimp available. Mister Gregory, "The Shrimp Boil King of New Orleans" grew up in the Gulf South shrimping and boiling and advocating for wild-caught Gulf Shrimp and the "eat it to save it" culinary approach. Please join us for live local music and a lovely dinner party, make some new friends and eat the very best shrimp in the world.

I have done this a couple time and every time is fantastic. The staff, atmosphere and food are all top notch!! It’s set up so you get to meet other people enjoying the experience. You get some history of New Orleans as well as the history of the shrimp boils. There is usually wonderful entertainment for while we are eating. And the food...omg it’s Soooooo Goooood!

Ive lived in New Orleans for 15 years and have seen a lot and eaten more than a lot here, but Mister Gregory's Shrimp Boil is a hidden jewel in the Quarter! Not only do you have Mister Gregory himself as your personal boil master, you have a private, personal dining experience with a balcony overlooking Armstrong Park and a local performer (if you're lucky its a phenomenal drag performance!) in an intimate setting. When I went, there were less than 30 people there and we were waited on like royalty while we ate as much of the best boiled shrimp I've ever put in my mouth (and honey, I have put a lot of shrimp in this mouth!) Some folks would be turned off by the price - but what they don't realize is that the service is above excellent, the quality of food is stellar and the fact that you have a true PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE (I.E. you aren't waiting in a herd to eat slop from a trough) all make this a fantastic deal! The only other places to offer private dining WITH a show cost HUNDREDS of dollars and require reservations months in advance and are black tie only. At Mister Gregory's, you get it all in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere like being the honored guest at a friend's home. Do yourself a favor and book it now - before everyone finds out about what a great deal this really is and it gets booked up forever in advance!!

So there is something to be said about the magic of this experience. Mister Gregory and his team make you feel so welcome. It’s exciting walking in with all the smells, shrimp boiling, and learning about the sustainability of gulf shrimp... very cool. While the boil finished we had a delicious deviled crab!! Then comes the boil. Delicious. Fantastic. We had our own beer and wine. As we dined we had Dede Onassis dazzling us with her beautiful voice. This is one of my favorite things to do in Nee Orleans!! Thanks team for an unforgettable time!
