Silver Springs kayaking is open all year long, and it’s a fantastic place for adventure whenever you’re ready to go! Manatee season is November through March but there are 7 manatees that call Silver Springs home year round! So we have the possibility to see the occasional manatees. Whenever you decide to take the tour, you can count on blue, crystal clear water and tons of fascinating history about this 200 year-old attraction. Besides the possibility of seeing manatees and monkeys, there are all kinds of wildlife to be seen year round, and I’ve memorized all their hot-spots. I can’t wait to show you! (there is a max weight limit of 250lbs for the single kayaks and 450lbs for the tandem)*Please note if you need a two person tandem. My kayak tours are capped at 6 kayaks per tour, perfect for families and smaller groups!****Same day bookings please call before booking for vessel availability as I may only have single kayaks OR tandems****

Some great memories were made on our kayak tour led by Aaron at Silver Springs. We were appreciative of the small group size, which in our case was just our family. As we had all kayaked before, we were quick to get going in the water and in short order came across a mother manatee and her young. We ended up seeing several manatees up close, a few alligators, turtles, many birds, and even a snake. The monkeys didn't come around when we were there. Aaron's non-hurried approach was great and he gave us time to linger where we found things of interest. We would recommend this tour to others.

My husband & I went kayaking with Aaron at Silver Springs State Park and we had an amazing time! We saw tons of wildlife (manatees, gaters, beautiful birds and monkeys!) and learned about the animals that live near the river and some of the stories about the area. Aaron was super flexible (allowed us to change our trip time the day before we were to meet), and perfectly balanced safety, professionalism and fun! Aaron took many pictures from the trip which he shared with us. The kayaks were comfortable and stable (I highly recommend 2 kayaks vs a double, and sit on top kayaks over clear kayaks for comfort). The trip was a highlight of our week and I highly recommend booking with Aaron for a smaller, more personalized trip versus with a company with large groups. You won't regret a trip with AWA Kayak Tours.
