We were in Skagway on a cruise and booked with Southeast Tours for their Yukon Discovery Tour. We were met at the pier and driven into town, which honestly was unnecessary because it was only a 5 minute walk, but might be nice for those who had trouble walking. We had to check in with Southeast Tours in the popcorn store and then were divided up into two bus groups. We got the mini bus with an older lady as our guide/driver who was nice and who had lived in Skagway for many years, but who was soft spoken and didn't know how to adjust the microphone so that we could hear her. Aside from having her as our guide, we enjoyed our trip. We wanted to check off going to the Yukon Territory in Canada and this trip did that for us. Lunch was so so and we were at the lunch stop for what was about 45 minutes longer than I would have liked, but other people on our bus had also booked the dog sledding, so we had to wait for them. The only time to use a bathroom was at the lunch stop. Other stops along the way to and from were just quick stops for photos with no facilities. The highlight of this trip was the stop at Emerald Lake, which made for some gorgeous photos. At the end of the trip, we made one last stop at an overlook of Skagway and the cruise ships. Then there was an option to be dropped off in town or at the dock.
