A proud affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, AACA Museum, Inc. at Hershey allows visitors of all ages enjoy vehicle displays of cars, motorcycles, buses, and more from the 1890s to modern classics. Hands-on interactive exhibits and our model train room are favorites for our younger visitors. Special featured exhibits allow flexibility to change the vehicles every six months allowing visitors to see something new each time they visit. AACA Museum, Inc. is also home to the world's largest collection of Tucker Automobiles and related artifacts.

AACA Museum, Inc.

The AACA Museum opened to the public in June of 2003 and is dedicated to the preservation of vintage automobiles and their vast history. The AACA museum offers hands-on activities for those of all ages. The museum, located in Hershey, PA, is world-renowned and offers exhibits from buses to motorcycles to cars to old bikes. The museum offers self-guided tours with gallery docents available for questions or further discussion. The large model train room, assembly line experience, and other interactive elements make it an excellent destination for all ages and interests. All three floors are completely accessible and the museum is easily located very close to other Hershey attractions. The Cammack Tucker Gallery showcases the world’s largest collection of Tucker Automobiles, experimental engines and other artifacts. Other exhibits include Whitney Houston's 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spur factory Limousine; the Lakeland Bus from award-winning movie Forrest Gump; and From Roads to Rails Custom Model Train Display. The museum is open daily and offers complimentary parking.

Our family loved everything here. My son's favorite were the busses on the ground floor. My husband loved all the motorcycles. I was amazed by the hood ornaments. Really friendly workers and a nice place that has rotating stock. So we will be back.

Two adults and a teenage boy. He’s not into cars but really enjoyed looking at the Studebakers. They were on exhibit with Harley Davidson. They were so beautiful and there many to look at. The guides walking around were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Only snack machines so don’t plan to eat here. I would set aside 2-3 hours to visit. We would definitely come back to see other exhibits.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a fabulous museum outside the entertainment and theme park section of Hershey, PA but then as a Smithsonian affiliate, why the surprise? Third floor held hood ornaments from old autos and I choked up when I saw one from my first car, a 1936 Hupmobile that probably few remember anymore. Also in the museum was the most amazing miniature train with tiny historical automobiles parked in front of buildings one remembers from the ‘40’s and ‘50’s. In the basement were historical Harley Davidson motorcycles—a true surprise having just come from the Harley factory in York, PA. Also in the basement were antique buses that were positively luxurious on the inside. In the staircase were hung advertisement pictures from the Joey Chitwood auto thrill show that traveled the US in the 40’s, ‘50’s and ‘60’s. As a kid, I never missed seeing his show at the local fairgrounds. The museum’s main floor has changing exhibits and this one featured the Studebaker automobile. However the permanent part of the first floor features a historical review of the Tucker auto and classic cars that most of us have only seen photos of in picture books. You don’t have to be a car buff to appreciate the craftsmanship of these autos manufactured in America after WWII, but you will feel nostalgic and wish that such wonderfully large, roomy, and show-stopping automobiles were still being produced in the US.
