This museum is all about military history on a personal level and is a collection of military artifacts that I started collecting over 40 years ago. We own many items but the select items we feature in this museum are ones with a story to tell. When our visitors leave the museum, it is our hope that they will have a new found attachment to the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats and medals.

Webb Military Museum

Located in Historic Downtown Savannah, Webb Military Museum features military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm. Original uniforms, headgear, and equipment are displayed in a walk-through setting. The museum honors our servicemen from all wars and branches. Many of the displays contain named groupings of servicemen highlighting their stories of service. A visit to Webb Military Museum will certainly bring back one’s love of history and the realization of how much we owe to our men and women in uniform. ACTIVE MILITARY ARE FREE!

This is a MUST DO in Savannah. I went with my history buff husband and sons expecting to be bored. It is much larger than you would expect and the collection is anything but ordinary. I’ve been to military displays all around the country including the Smithsonian and this was a true standout!! The owner can tell you story after story about the rare articles in his collection (as well as the more mainstream), with personal stories/history for each display. Revolutionary War through current conflicts. Go see it!!

The homeschool students really liked the stories about soldiers from all the different wars. And the cockpit right in the middle of the museum, at eye level, amazed them. The two Girl Scouts liked seeing the GS uniform and hearing about why the uniform changed from zippers to buttons. So many things to see and learn. Will definitely be back for another field trip!

My family was on old Town tour bus and passed the museum which I had not previously seen during countless visits to Savannah. We walked back after stop #8 of tour and took museum tour. Awesome artifacts this guy has collected. If you have kids and enjoy history it's a must stop and visit. It will not disappoint. As a veteran I thoroughly enjoyed it.
