Muzeum Holokaustu i Centrum Edukacji w Illinois
Przychodząc do Muzeum, zwiedzający mają do odkrycia szereg doświadczeń.

This was one of the most interesting Holocaust museums we have ever seen (and we have been to Washington DC and Yad Vashem). Instead of trying to overwhelm you with tons of artifacts, this museum focuses on the individuals that perished and survived. There are many donations from local survivors. Make sure to go a docent tour to get the most out of your experience. Also, don't miss the Hologram presentation where you get to ask questions of a survivor's hologram. Wonderful experience!

My friend who resides in Evanston, Illinois took me to IHM&EC during my visit in January 2019. I have twice visited Dacha Concentration Camp Memorial Site near Munich, Bavaria, FRG so I was prepared for this visit. The IHM&EC is a state of the art museum & facility. The history of the Holocaust is presented with artifacts, personal correspondences and recorded oral stories of many of the survivors and/or their family members. I knew alot of what had occured but this exhibit provided me with much more personal stories & information. The displays are very well organized with much detail. I was very impressed by all aspects of this museum and their mission of educating the areas school children so that future generations will never forget the horrors & atrocities that occured. I highly reccomend the IHM&EC as a must visit for all people.
