We loved the Met in and of itself but the tour was rushed and hard to understand the guide. He seemed to be very knowledgeable but didn’t wait for the entire group to gather before talking. I would have rather just walked the Met by ourselves.

My Dad and I took this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Matt, was amazing. He was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. He brought the museum to life with his interesting stories.He slso took the time to answer our questions and really made a point to be sure we saw highlights and hidden gems that most people would otherwise miss. I highly recommend this tour!! You'll be lucky if you get Matt as your guide!

Mark was just awesome! We both had such an amazing time! His passion & love for art is incredibly infectious! It has reminded me of all the varieties of art we have available to us back home that I may have taken for granted, and I now want to look for the things he showed us to look for: the ancient Egyptian influence in modern art with the “chaos” all around the focus, finding the “hidden” artists in the paintings themselves, and how artists like Degas could make a choice in a painting series to add something innocuous like a shadow of a man to show a darker reality of the world of the painting. Cannot recommend him enough!
