Great trip well worth the money Adam was a fantastic guide got to see loads all in one day without feeling rushed. Would do it all over again even though it was an early start. Very professional from beginning to end.
The Grand Canyon was fabulous, but we did not sufficient time to do everything, with hindsight it would have been better to do a self drive to the Canyon and paid the entrance fees.
We were collected in a fairly clapped out old coach capable of taking 14 people, the first thing that was mentioned by the guide/driver was the tips/gratuity to be given at the end of the trip of circa 20, not a good start. No information was given about the sequence of events, what to see and approximate timings
The on board breakfast consisted of a piece of string cheese, that was awful, a stale muffin, some nuts and a cereal bar with a small bottle of orange.
Very little information was given about the Hoover Dam, in fact half the people got off the caoch and walked across the road bridge to see the dam itself, while the other half were driven across the dam, and given a 5-minute photo shoot.
There was a short toilet break stop at a cafe/petrol station, before a mad dash to the canyon for the 11:00 helicopter ride, which we were only told about the timing when we reach the main entrance, after a very bumpy ride. We were then told we were to be picked up at 15:00, so only 4-hours to explore, which wasn't enough
The trip in the helicopter was brilliant, and the pilot was helpful and informative, and we were not hurried in any way.
The lunch provided, by way of a food voucher, was OK, but definitely cowboy/army style of lumps on the plate. Ribs, Mash with Gravy and beans or veg
We then went to the Skywalk cost excluded, and had to wait our turn, which took around 30-minutes to get on, once on, they then closed it while they put out some carpets on the glass to stop people slipping, this took approximately another 30-minutes, so half the fun was gone. We had no time to see Guano Point as we needed to get back to the coach at 15:00, so that was a big big miss. On the journey back we had a 2-minute photo shoot by some Joshua trees.
The toilet stops were disgusting
Awesome tour and guide. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone. Our Guide was extremely knowledgable and did an awesome job!
