Guide was awesome and knowledgeable about the area history, plants, and of course horses. Took the 70 minute long ride and learned a lot. Horses are some of the best behaved I have come across and this is a good ride for relatively new riders. View of the lake is good but ride through young redwood forest is even better.

What a wonderful experience!! My family and I loved this adventure and will definitely schedule again next year when they visit again! Our guide, Camie, was terrific...so patient with this inexperienced horse back riding family :) My grandson (13) said that this part of his vacation was the BEST! This scenic ride was memorable and the horse back ride was great fun!! I would recommend The Ranch at Lake Sonoma to anyone...even if you've never been on a horse before! Thank you Camie!

Escape the busy wineries for serene, gorgeous Lake Sonoma and views from horseback. Can’t say enough good things about our guide Nikki, breathtaking views, the well-trained and sweet horses. Husband’s first time on a horse, much less trail riding and he had a fabulous time.
