The Ranch at Lake Sonoma Heritage ride was beautiful. We rode along trails with scenic vistas of the lake and hills with a variety of wild flowers blooming alongside the trails. The horses were well cared for and appropriate for any rider skill level. The Heritage ride was approximately 2hrs and there were a couple of times where we got off and needed to remount. Our guide was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. The facility is rustic but lovely, hand sanitizer was all over inside the barn, and cold waters were provided. I will be back to experience the other rides they offer. BTW, this is the same family who offers the Chancelor Ranch rides in Bodega Bay. I'm taking my niece there this coming Monday to do the Salmon Creek ride.

I am so glad you had a wonderful time on our Heritage Oaks tour! The flowers are definitely making a show this time of year. I will tell Cammi your guide that you reviewed her! I hope your niece had a good time out at Chanselor Ranch. Unfortunately we are not associated with their business at all, they are managed by Five Brooks Ranch, a company that does trailrides in Olema. Either way, we hope she had fun!

This was a fantastic experience! The horses were carefully chosen and clearly well trained. For first time riders such as ourselves we really appreciated it. We learned a lot from our guide and enjoyed beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend!
