A qualified instructor will meet you at beach access #16, located at 4400 Gulf Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas. There you will learn a series of techniques for building and carving a better sandcastle. This is hands-on instruction, and in 1 hour you will have a completed (or mostly completed) sand castle, perfect for a family photo op.

My wife booked sand castle lessons well in advance of our trip. We received a confirmation e-mail that the lesson was to be at 9:30am. We arrived at 9:15am in the correct location. The lady was a no show. We called her and she was very disrespectful to my wife. She said our time was 9:00am and blamed us for not showing up at the correct time. We forwarded her the confirmation e-mail that she had originally sent us. I do not tolerate people disrespecting my wife. I did not rebook with this lady. The situation was handled very poorly by this lady.

Not how it went down. I admitted my error, apologized and offered to come right away and give a slightly shorter lesson for a discounted price. I blamed no one but myself for getting it on the calendar wrong. Not sure how that amounts to "being disrespectful" but, okay. I apologize... again.

Our family had an incredible time! Anubis was super friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. He is super talented as well. Great activity for adults and older children! Wonderful talented instructor with years of building experience and is local to the island. Highly recommended!
