I was very excited about going to southfork ranch, and believe me it didn't disappoint me at all, even having a photo with a JR'S cardboard cutout was wonderful, the host of the house Will Will was also wonderful, thank you for letting me relive my Dallas days

Lovely trip to Southfork saw all the outside areas and the house. Good explaining by Orlando our guide and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Fans of the show would love it.

This side trip was very fun and interesting for those who used to watch the show. If you are not familiar with JR Ewing or the show Dallas it probably won't mean anything to you. The docents were great and enlightening, talking about how the house became famous, the family that owned it and how they filmed the show. The tour of the inside the house was informative and photos are allowed. I would have hated to give up this house as it's very charming. The 200 acres is breathtaking. Horse back riding can also be done for an additional charge. Wish we had had the time to do that.
