think every blue blooded American needs to visit this place at lease once in their lives. I grew up in the Space Shuttle generation. I've recently been doing some research and reading on the different flight programs, and I had an opportunity to visit. I am so glad that I did. When you first arrive, you see the Space Shuttle on top of the big ass airplane that it was transported. There was also a Space X rocket on display. I did, however, make the mistake of going on a day where like 900 kids groups were visiting. They offer tram rides to the different places (like Control Center, or the Space Shuttle). Since it's very hot outside, I don't think you can simply walk around the grounds. So we could not get on a tram ride. We stayed inside the grounds of the main museum. For what you pay, I don't think it's a lot. I guess I figure it's an investment to keep the space program running. There was info on the gemini, mercury, apollo, space shuttle programs and now MARS exploration. If you're a nerd, you'll definitely love it. Accessible by car. Parking isn't free exactly; the lot is vast, but when you buy tickets, you also essentially pay for parking. K. Whatevs.

So good, we stopped by on a road trip through the USA and didn’t regret this stop at all. We’re an adult couple and loved it, if we were kids and think we would have lost our actual heads with excitement. We went early (9am), well worth getting up early to beat the crowds. By the time we left (1pm) it was heaving.
