During Nights of Lights, St. Augustine glows with holiday magic from the ground to the rooftops. Selected by National Geographic since 2011 as one of the ten best holiday lighting displays in the world, St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights features millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the nation’s oldest city. Tracing its origins to the Spanish tradition of displaying a white candle in the window during the Christmas holidays, the spectacular lighting reflects the city’s 448-year history and illuminates the beautiful setting for lasting holiday memories. Caroling, hot cider, and homemade cookies add to the magic of the evening that includes a ride on the Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley around the town. This is a great tour to put you in the holiday mood.

Beautiful lights! So many great restaurants to choose from like Harry’s, Colombia, Casa Reina. Gorgeous old city. Trolley ride & singing Christmas songs, so fun. Ismael, our driver, was WONDERFUL! Thanks for a great experience.

We were picked up at the hotel. Then set off to St Augustine we stopped part way as the journey is approx 2hrs ( but well worth it) I must say the tour guides are very knowledgable . We arrived and had plenty of time to take a good look around before we joined the queue which was quite long for the Holly Jolly ride. As we were boarding the ride each person received a pair of 3d sunglasses. We went all around St Augustine seeing thousands of lights which were amazing and the 3d glasses made it even better, everyone was singing to the christmas songs along the way. When we reached the end everyone was given a cookie and a warm drink of apple cider. A truely amazing

Fun event with pretty lights. A bit of a wait in line for the trolley, but it is popular event. Glad we went and the town and lights filled us with the Christmas spirit.
