We decided to go all out and do the VIP experience which included our own personal hostess who catered to us all night, early boarding (and believe me, on a cold rainy and windy day, this was a lifesaver!), a complimentary group photo, a delicious buffet dinner, open bar ALL NIGHT, seating right in front of the band, and a private tour by the Captain! It honestly was so well worth the money we spent- we were treated like royalty, and it really wasn’t that much more than the dinner tickets without VIP! At the end of the evening, we were given a bag filled with goodies including two engraved champagne glasses, Mardi gras feathered masks, and so much more! La Monica ( our personal hostess ) was the best from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

The VIP experience was worth it! You get to enter first and your waiter will take pictures of you, before sitting you front row to the jazz band and serve you drinks/foods. Marlon, our waiter, and the captain, with who we had a tour of the boat, made our experience even more memorable. The Cajun buffet and the band were great. Such a wonderful experience to dance some jazz on the Mississippi aboard this steamboat!

I was in town for a work conference and I booked the VIP package for the Natchez. Upon check in and getting scored up by Marlon, I felt like a princess. I had a glass of champagne as soon as I stepped foot onboard and was escorted to my VIP table which was the best seat in the house! Fully unobstructed view of the amazing jazz band and Marlon waited on me the entire night. He was very attentive, easy to talk to and he really made sure it was a great experience. After dinner, which was chef's kiss, we departed from shore and I received a personal tour of the steamboat by the captain. We got right next to the paddle, my favorite part of the night! I definitely recommend the Natchez and will never forget this experience. Marlon was amazing and he made the evening something to cherish in my heart.
