Of course, I was in interested in the Strange True Tour due to its content. And the several great reviews helped too! Met Jeffrey outside Antoine's Annex on Tuesday night, and he said he'd wait a few minutes for any walk-ups. No one else showed up by 7, so we ended up getting a private tour! That's pretty awesome.
Jeffrey was very personable, witty, and informative. Great at relaying the gritty history of the French Quarter. My husband and I loved it. We also thought it was awesome that we were enjoying our adult beverages while sitting on the steps of the Supreme Court. Yeah...in what other city could you get away with that?? And our beverages of choice were The Jester and a Huge [--] Beer...not subtle at ALL, haha!! Jeffrey also doesn't take any [--] from the musicians across the street from where the tour ends (at Royal Orleans). They sounded good, but my first priority was hearing the tour, so I appreciated that.
We definitely see New Orleans in a different light after our tour...really not a "romantic" history! But very intriguing!
