We scheduled this tour because our children love animals. They also offered a kennel tour and that sealed the deal for me. Chase shared his dogs with us. He also told us how he ended up in Alaska and how he named his dogs. Lots of cool stories. The dogs were all sweet. Some are young and excited, so be prepared to get furry and dirty:) They love to run and they get so excited to show off their skills. The kids really enjoyed the puppies at the end. It's worth the drive out of town. Go a little bit early because there is construction you may need to stop for. Take bug spray, a light coat, and good walking shoes. Basically dress like you are going on a hike, but you will only be walking around the camp a little. I am tempted to return to see how the dogs perform at -40 degrees.
