Located in historic Over the Rhine, the Market welcomes over a million visitors a year! For first-time visitors, the market can be overwhelming. But we make it fun with an in-person guide at your side. We can skip the lines and maneuver to our favorite spots. Your guide will entertain you with stories from the past and old photos that bring history to life.

Our stops vary from week to week, but some of the samples may include a German goetta sandwich, Belgium waffles, croissants, pierogies, fudge, cheese, soup and gelato.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing (an umbrella if needed). Bring a water bottle for hydration in warm weather. We walk less than .5 mile, but we will be standing at various food stalls. There are benches, tables and chairs surrounding the market.
  • This is a wheelchair accesible tour, but please be aware the market may be crowded, which can make meaneuvering a wheelchair difficult.
  • All guests must check-in 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
  • Children 6 years and older require a ticket. under 5 are free, but do not receive any food.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Laura, taught us so much about the history of this area of Cincinnati and the origins of Findlay Market. We sampled from 10 stops and had so much food that we ended up taking some home for later! I loved how I was introduced to some foods that I had never even tasted before. Goetta from Eckerlin Meats just may be on my Christmas list this year. This is such a beautiful, thriving market in such a historical part of town. I'm glad Laura was a pro at explaining the history because it made the tour even better to learn a little about how Over The Rhine evolved. I can't wait to come back and take another one of Riverside's tours. This was money well spent.

My wife and I were with another couple on this tour and had a wonderful time. Laura was so knowledgeable and insightful while giving us lots of historical information about Cincinnati and especially the settling of the OTR area. We sampled food at 10 different places, and it was all really good. You will not leave hungry. In addition, Laura will tell you about many other vendors in and around the market. So many interesting stories. This trip is well worth your time and money -- you will love it!

Thanks Bill for sharing. Findlay Market has such a rich history tied to the settlement of Over the Rhine, that it can easily fill a 2.5 hour tour experience. The local businesses offer a great variety of dishes and are fun to meet! I'm glad you enjoyed the history and the dishes. I hope you can join us again sometime on one of the other tours.
