Just north of Phoenix, enjoy an approximate 45-minute hot air balloon ride over the Sonoran Desert. Once you arrive, watch as your balloon inflate. After your flight, relax with a champagne breakfast served on picnic tables with linens. Rides are shared with up to 20 travelers on board. This activity does take up to 4 hours.

We were all set to take off,even in the basket, and a hole was discovered so flight was cancelled. Staff was friendly. Wewere told 20% of flights get cancelled. We did get timely refund through Viator. Very diasappointed because could not be rebooked

We understand your disappointment at not being able to fly. Damage to the balloon envelope was encountered during the inflation process due to the wind pushing the balloon over a cactus skeleton. It unfortunately poked a hole in the fabric causing the balloon to be unsafe for flight. Although it was a disappointment to you, we cancelled your flight because we value your safety above all else.

We were looking forward to this experience and it turned out to be such a scam that it was truly disappointing. The company told us they were the largest ballon in North America. The company promised us a certain height and we assumed the hot air balloon would atleast travel somewhat of a distance. Well, it did not, The ballon went up with us after a big show of filling it up with air, then stayed stationary and hardly moved any distance from where we had taken off. If it moved it was ascending or descending a bit, that's all. The operators kept assuring us it was the weather - but it wasn't, as the weather was warm and constant. The place we finally landed showed a lot of track marks of the van that had been picking and dropping off folks all day from the same spot! Which goes to show that the company is hoodwinking all its customers with the same stunt day in and day out. It is alarming and disappointing to see how this company stays in business when it charged us $600 for essentially 4 hours of show biz! Please avoid if you can and instead, save yourself for another better experience worthy of you and your money!

So, let's think about this logically. Although we wish could control the wind, we can't. The only control we have is vertical movement. We can make the balloon go up and down, nothing more. The wind controls the rest. There are very few days when the wind doesn't give us some movement. Sometimes we may have to go very high to find it or we many never find it. Your contention that we go to the same place everyday and go up and down over the same piece of land all day long is ludicrous. We offer only one flight daily at sunrise. Every flight is different and is totally at the mercy of the wind. That is part of the fun of ballooning. It is an adventure! We are constantly rewarded with outstanding reviews of our ballooning experience from passengers who truly understand the concept of how hot air balloons operate.

What a great experience. I was very nervous because I am afraid of heights. My grandson wanted to have this experience with me. How could I refuse? I am so glad we shared this activity. I was not intimidated by the height at all. The pilot was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. We landed and shared a very nice breakfast. The crew members were friendly and skilled at their job. Loved it!
