This was our first hot air balloon ride while visiting friends who live in Temecula. After looking at several websites and a few calls we selected California Dreamin, so glad we did. Arrived at Vindemia Winery early for the set-up. We actually went to 3 locations and they tested the rise with a helium balloon. After they were satisfied the balloons were assembled and we were ready for take off. Dave was our pilot and had us dip low over the vineyards where he pointed out various animals etc and then up we went. Although some balloons went up just really high, in the end I appreciated the skill necessary for the more in depth tour. We floated really high for a overall view as well, and Dave was very aware of local airplane traffic to keep us safe. Landing was soft and easy. They took us back to the Vineyard for a wonderful breakfast with fruit, local breads, cheeses, mimosas, and a bottle of their wine to take home. I really liked their friendly attitude and service. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Enjoy:)

Took our first hot air balloon ride for our 16th wedding anniversary and it was everything we had hoped for :-) Very nice staff met us predawn at the Vindemia winery with hot coffee/cocoa. Our balloon ride was very fun and they even put a Happy Anniversary banner on the side of the basket. After landing...we were driven back to the winery for a continental breakfast that was very good and some delicious mimosas :-) We were given a complimentary bottle of wine and souvenir wine glasses also. Highly recommend them if you're in Temecula :-) Very happy with the experience. Hig

This was our first hot air balloon ride. California Dreaming is a very well run organization. My first encounter with California Dreaming started with Gail to inquire and make reservations. She was very polite and helpful. The staff running the balloon ride was very safety conscious and the ride was amazing! Dave was our pilot and he has many years of experience and well as great stories to tell. After the ride we enjoyed breakfast (homemade bread, crackers and cheese, fruit)and mimosas back at the winery. They also had a birthday cake to celebrate a birthday of one of the riders. When we left we were given a bottle of wine. They even packaged our bottle of wine for us because we were flying home afterwards...great customer service. This company is top notch from beginning to end.
