My son really wanted to go on a balloon ride for his 9th birthday so that's what we did. It was really great experience for all of us. The crew was amazing and the views were even better. A first class operation!! Thanks California Dreamin for making my son's birthday so rememberable!!

I found California Dreamin by surfing the web. They were great. They picked us up at our villa at South Coast Winery. They were very concerned about safety and didn't set up launch until they were sure that they had found a suitable location. Our pilot was knowledgeable and personable and obviously very passionate about what he did. After the flight we were treated to a delicious breakfast and an interesting history lesson about hot air ballooning. I will gladly recommend this company again and look forward to testing out their Biplane adventure in the future.

My wife booked a flight with California Dreamin' and we weren't dissapointed. Everyone was top notch and very organized from the moment we arrived (at 5am!). Before the flight they offer a mimosa and after the flight they offer a complimentary continental breakfast. People are grouped into pairs or groups of 2-3 in pods within the basket. Watch out for this as you may get seperated from your honey if you don't make someone aware as one couple did on our flight. It was a beautiful day and a great experience that we would highly recommend. We would highly recommend California Dreamin' for your first hot air ballooning adventure. They go out of their way to make the day special - several couples were celebrating a special occation and they make sure to recognize them via a birthday cake, or bottle of wine/champagne - nice touch.
