Przegląd
Oferowane zarówno zimą, jak i latem. W zależności od pory roku widzimy łosie, owce, wieloryby, kozy, wilki, niedźwiedzie i nie tylko. The weather was not conducive to our goals. Our guide Shawn did find a bald Eagle and some mountain goats despite the snow and wind. He gave us a nice sense if the city and out to Beluga point. This tour would be much better in clear weather.

Hi Larry, I wish everyday could be clear. It is our biggest challenge especially this time of year when we are transitioning from winter to spring. I am glad that you saw some animals. Thank you for your words they are well received.

I personally did not enjoy this tour. The operator was half an hour late to picking us up. His driving was unsafe in the snow, skidding all over the road on multiple occasions. We were picked up in a vehicle which did not seem fit for the weather conditions. We were late for the sunset and would have missed it if we didnt hurry him along. We made multiple toilet stops that were unnecessary for a 4hr tour (two in the first two hours). He drove on what seemed like private property to go to a view point and told us that a man often comes out and yells at him and that ‘he would deal with it’ if someone came out. We missed the highlight of the trip (Turnigan Arm) because it was so late we couldnt see anything (it was dark). The tour operator provided his views on religion and politics as well as his family history which was unnecessary for a ‘sunset’ tour. The last stop was meant to be a gift store which was closed and when we told him not to bother with the gift store he got irritated with us and drove us aggressively back to our hotel. We were really only interested in taking some pretty photos on our last night in Anchorage but we ended up spending majority of our time walking downtown and learning its history while the sun was setting.

Your review is not only unfair. You review does not tell the whole story and it is filled with lies. The vehicle is equipped with studded snow tires and I drive around 60,000 miles a year. I am extremely safe and I was driving safe for the conditions. I offered multiple toilet stops as any location that has a toilet I point out. I stop for multiple reasons not just a toilet. You will come to appreciate that in a few years. You contacted my booking agent and asked for a special tour only a few hours prior. I do not normally offer this tour this time of year because of the sunrise and sunset. You requested a special tour because you only had the afternoon for tours and asked me to pick you up at the airport. Finally I reluctantly agreed. Next, you called back to change the pickup location to your hotel. The booking agent told you this was not normally offered and that I made a special consideration. Yes the sun had set, however, you had asked me to make special stops along the way that I normally do not make. Additionally, it was dense fog all day and only at the very last of your tour did the sun come out. I honestly believed we were not going to see the sun at all. This is why I took a detour with you to seek out a moose which you were very happy about. Alaska is subject to weather and there is no way to control that. This time of year we loose approximately 1/2 hour per week. This is why I do not offer this tour in November, December or January. It is too likely to not be the best experience possible. I thought we were very lucky to see what we did and the view from the Grumpy Ol' Man Lookout was breathtaking. I will most likely never make a last minute acceptation like yours, ever again. I consider your review an insult and one sided. I do hope you remove the sarcasm and the untruths. As for the final stop of the day to see a Mastodon Skull and tour a Native Art gift shop, OPEN by the way. You cancelled the stop and it was blatantly obvious that you did not enjoy the tour. But at that point all I could do was stop trying to provide you with the best tour possible and dropped you off. As satire I often refer to three things we do not talk about on tour. 1. Religion. 2. Politics. 3. Global Warming. As a joke I follow that statement with... "I'll start with politics." Sorry you did not get the joke. As for my family the Kvasnikoff's are part of "Agrafena's Children" you should read her story it is an amazing part of Alaska history. Kind regards. Russ

Our guide provided a lot of interesting information about the earthquakes that hit Alaska and showed us around the area cumulating with an outstanding view of Anchorage after the sunset.
