Take a 2.0 hour sailing cruise on a Sparkman and Stephens Sailing Yacht. With your small-group, engage on this classic 42 ft yacht, that accommodates a 6 passenger maximum for an intimate cruise through the waters of Wrightsville Beach. This tour is a spectacular way to see the waterways, barrier islands, and marine life surrounding Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina. Please note, beginning November 8, 2018 our Sunset Cruise will depart at 3:00 pm. Sunset Cruise guests should arrive at least 10 minutes early.

We had a fantastic evening motoring and sailing the beautiful Intercoastal Waterway with Capt. Jim. We saw lots of great birds, a pretty pink sunset and a moonrise of a full moon. Great snacks too. Would highly recommend this!

Captain Jim and his wife provided a warm, genuine atmosphere with their boat hospitality!! Not only was Jim very knowledgeable about the history of the beach, he took the time to educate us about the boat, beach environment, and animals! His wife and I connected on many things and me and my fiance' were blown away by their warming spirits! Not only that, but we got engaged after the boat ride, which Mr. Jim so kindly help my fiance' set up! Truly a GREAT experience!

We arrived a bit early for our sail with Captain Jim. He had us wait in the lower, SHADED, area of the local clubhouse of the marina. It was a pleasant and short wait. Captain Jim is an excellent communicator and conversationalist which always makes adventures like these enjoyable for everyone. We boarded his sailboat which is beautiful and very well taken care of. As it turned out, we were the only ones who planned to sail that afternoon so our little family of 3 had a personalized sail! How fun! Captain Jim put out a beautiful buffet of yummy treats. Our 8 year old particularly enjoyed the peach salsa so she traveled below deck several times. Captain Jim knows the area extremely well having grown up here and raised his family here. He knows the wildlife as well - providing binoculars for everyone and pointing out birdlife as we traveled. Our favorite part of the adventure was taking the ship out near the opening to the ocean and feeling the current and waves in that area. The experience was humbling! We set the sails after heading back into the waterway and spent a long time just sailing...what an experience! None of us had been on a sailboat before! We will definitely do this again with Captain Jim. Fantastic experience!!!
