Skip the crowded beaches and waves of Waikiki - head straight for Oahu's North Shore. Learn to surf from the best and safest. Don't let Suzy's laid-back attitude fool you - she's all about water safety while helping you catch your first Hawaiian waves. I've surfed with Suzy a few times and always learn something new (I'm definitely still a beginner but she doesn't tire of refining the basics). Suzy's enthusiasm and encouragement are contagious - your first 2 foot wave will feel like it's 20 feet! Put lots of sunscreen on the back of your legs, arms and face, pack water, a towel and a healthy sense of adventure. Suzy will make a surfing believer out of you - surfing instructors with her genuine vibe are very rare. Just give her a call - you'll be glad you did. Angie from Calgary

Before our recent family vacation to Hawai'i, I wanted to find just the right surfing instructor for our children. I cam across Sunset Suzy quite by accident and I am so thankful I did! After looking over her website and talking with her a bit, we signed up for lessons and couldn't wait to meet her. The experience was terrific! The kids were riding waves in no time and had the time of their lives. Suzy is so personable, engaging and obviously loves to surf and share her love with others. We're so glad we found her and would highly recommend her to anyone who would like to catch a few waves on the North Shore!

I recently had an awesome surf lesson with suzy. She is professional and very experienced. I found out she has the longest running surf school on the North Shore, and it shows. She was great with my kids, and we all felt very safe. Plus we all caught some great waves! Highly recommend it to any one.
