When it comes to Colorado whitewater, hardly anyone knows about the San Miguel River. Which is kind of a surprise! Given how much fun it is, on top of being in proximity to bougie and beloved Telluride.

The rafting section is gorgeously scenic, exciting for all experience levels, and pretty much a must if you want to spend the morning like a local. Its red sandstone canyon juxtaposed by flourishing pine forests make for a picturesque setting to recreate on this Rocky Mountain river.

Anyone who loves the outdoors will have an absolute hoot on this tour, whether it’s your first or hundredth time rafting. Just ask our guides, most— if not all!— will agree that the San Miguel is their favorite river to run.

We were in Telluride for a long weekend and did a half day rafting trip with Sam - we had so much fun! She was super knowledgeable and made us feel safe, plus we had a blast. Highly recommend Sam and this company!

purchased this trip for fathers day for my husband, it was so much fun and our guide was excellent!! Hayden made sure we were all safe and it was a blast!!! highly recommended!!!!

Our group of 5 had a great time on the morning half day rafting trip on the San Miguel river in Telluride! A few of us had rafted this river before, but 2 were first timers. We all had a fun experience! Our guide, Elaina, was super awesome and made us all feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend going white water rafting on the San Miguel river and using Mild to Wild!
