Underwhelming. The guide was very nice but didn’t know how to read the audience. “Pub” stops were fine but all in all expected more.

Tour guide, Heather, was awesome! Kudos to her! Her "script" was fun, informative, revealing, and chilling. And Heather is delightful. Enjoyed the variety of beverages - wine, beer, and a rum punch - but since we were limited to the proprietors' choice, not all the selections were appealing. We were disappointed in 2 of the 3 beverage stops. With so many local establishments we couldn't believe the final stop was Mellow Mushroom, a chain that's in many locales including our city of residence and which we never patronize. The tour would be better if all 3 stops were local businesses, unique to Williamsburg with unique offerings. Despite that shortcoming I would recommend since the point of the tour was to learn about history and murder in Williamsburg - drinks were a perk.
