The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

I really didn't think I would like this tour. Our guide was retired from the DC area. He was a fast walker like myself, which was great. I learned so much about the architecture there in south beach. I always wandered about the design and the tour answered all of those questions and more. Oh my goodness, the interior of the hotels that we visited were gorgeous. I recommend this tour to everyone. I even received some ideas for my home's interior design.

Mark has a wealth of knowledge. He is detailed and patient. I have a whole different view of Miami Beach. I had taken for granted the hotels for years. Now I have a different concept Mark is great. I will take the tour again.

The sunrise art deco walking tour was really great. Howard was extremely knowledgable and personable. Interesting tour and a great activity for early risers.
